As you guys know, I often post the exceedingly rare early Showman's when I see them. Once in a blue moon. Saw this on Reverb if anyone is interested. Tho the PT seems unoriginal. Looks like it'd actually be a 6G14.

I already have one of these great amps, so I try to spread the word so it stays in the surf community. No affiliation.

That seems like a 6G14A, it has 5881 power tubes and the board layout matches that of a 6G14A. 6G14 has 6L6 power tubes and some differences on the schematic which would be obvious at the photos. The OT seems period-correct which is good!

FYI:
The PT being completely different than the original one also could be an issue. One of my Showman amps, when I bought it, had a BF/SF Twin Reverb PT. My amp tech said he could never get the voltages quite up to spec. At some point, I had him install a replacement Mercury Magnetics PT, and he confirmed that solved the issue. The amp behaved much better after the swap.
I wouldn't consider the non-original PT a non-issue. The OT looks original, which is good.
The price for the amp listed is way too high IMHO for what it is.

The eyeletboard is from 6g14-A. The
eyeletboard from 6g14 has the resistors
68k from the input on the board.
