We are always game for hole in the wall tacos, but there's something about this place...

Located a few blocks from the entrance to the Vincent Thomas Bridge,
which is depicted at the top of the sign.

We love Pedro. We have old friends and family there and have always tried to hang out there on tour when we could. We are excited that The Sardine opened and took us at the last minute! It used to be a bakery, right?

Ramona Bakery

When The Sardine opened, a local magazine published a cover story about the venue:

Nice! If you have friends born in Pedro there's a good chance I know/know of them. We joke that there's only about 3 degrees of separation between any of the locals here.
Back in the day Ramona Bakery was owned by a childhood friend's family and now The Sardine was started by friends of my daughter and her husband. They were married up north in Eureka where they live now but had a post-wedding reception party at The Sardine last month for their hometown friends and family.
Looking forward to the show!

Gonna try to finish early and get there around 6 pm.
Any good food near by?

Jeff(bigtikidude)

El Taco is the closest spot. If you're looking for a more sit down type place Puesta del Sol is great- it's a few blocks away at 17th & Gaffey. There's lots of other spots down 6th Street too
