I see that Sean didn't start a thread, so I will.
Yes, La Continental #37 is available now from the publishing wing of the Double Crown Records empire.
This one bears the moniker "La Continental" as all the articles are about the Mexican surf music scene. There's an overview of the history of surf music in Mexico, as well as interviews with many current bands, musicians and scene makers.
The rest of the pages are filled with reviews. If you haven't seen The Continental recently, it's now full color throughout and I appreciate the larger font size.
As always, the Continental comes with a CD and this one features:
1. The Babalooneys - Sittin’ On The Line
2. Martin Cilia - Horror On The Beach
3. Mark Malibu & The Wasagas - Turning Point
4. Los Oxidados - Capitan Lance Murdock
5. The Cosmic Wrays - The Cosmic Peril
6. Draculina - Sinhella
7. Little Kahuna - Tiki Pop
8. Agent Octopus - Lew Vs. The Kracken
9. Messer Chups - Dark Side Of Paradise
10. The Breakers - Landmark
11. Trabants - Surfers On Acid
12. The Vicissitudes - Where Is The Interceptor
13. The Wretched Edsels - Echo Mountain
14. White Sand - Vampire Drug Party
15. Guitarmy Of One - Soylent Seafoam Green
16. Desert Undertones - Road To Hana
17. Hypersonic Secret - [REDACTED]

Great issue! I just finished reading it. The mention of the huge crowds in Mexico City blew me away! I look forward to learning more about the Surf scene in Mexico and Latin America. As stated, in the 'zine, this is just the tip of the iceberg. So many great bands and musicians.
