As interest in the fanzine has increased, and the content has multiplied, we've updated our publication schedule to become a quarterly publication. Below are our publication dates and the bands that will be presented.

All our distribution partners print directly from the Colorado Instrumental Fanzine master files. This saves time and money, allowing the zines to be sold at market prices in their respective regions. Additionally, every band that is interviewed has the option to print fanzines to sell at their shows. Again, this is done directly from the master files and saves us from shipping the fanzines more than once. Thus, the bands keep all the money beyond their printing costs. It’s a collectible souvenir especially when autographed and requires minimal effort for the band. It’s ideal merch!
Our fanzine is printed on 8.5" X 11" (letter) paper in the USA and either A4 or 'letter' outside of the USA.
Ad sizes:
Quarter page (3.5" W X 4.75" H)
Half page (7.5" W X 4.75" H)
Full page (7.5 W X 10.0” H)
** No bleed, unless requested.
Future endeavors:
As if the amazing lineup of the world’s best surf bands wasn’t enough, issues 3 through 6 will contain a complimentary 7". At the end of 2025, with issues 7 and 8, we will release a commemorative 12" compilation. The first will feature legacy bands combined with some up-and-coming talent. The second compilation will honor the women in the surf scene by featuring bands with at least one female member.
