If You Love and miss the Bambi Molesters desperately like I do…. you should do yourself a favor and buy the release by The Strange titled “Nights of Forgotten Films”. This is the collaboration from 2004 with the Bambis and Chris Eckman.
When I hear them- I hear all kinds of new wave bands I grew up listening to like Love and Rockets, Jesus and Mary Chain and mixed with the Bambi Molesters. I don’t know how I missed this release but thank goodness I found it. I sure do miss the Bambis.
Additionally, I also recommend LHD “Off the Grid”. This release is essentially the Bambi’s minus Dalibor. It sounds great and hoping for more from them. Maybe someday they will play again!
