Just FYI, I clicked your link and Spotify opened and brought up the Mothers of Invention. It appears I cannot listen to your track on Spotify. —Daniel Deathtide |

That is weird, I just clicked it again and it brought me right to the track. Maybe this youtube link is easier https://youtu.be/EyaezoaAWSE?si=AUVtco9yau7NqQXB Last edited: Apr 15, 2024 19:46:14 |

I've actually run into that several times when someone sent me a Spotify link. I think Spotify doesn't like me. The YT link worked! This track kinda reminds me of Link Wray, or minimalist surf. Picking a riff and then sticking with it is pretty cool. I like a cleaner guitar tone personally, but your tone works well with your songs. (One problem I have with that, is that the reverb becomes indistinct.) Anyhow the track definitely puts me in a surfy zone and stays there. I really like the intensity. I can picture the pick dust collecting under the strings. I use white picks so the dust accumulates quickly on the jags. I would love to see a show, too bad I don't live in New York anymore! —Daniel Deathtide |

Thanks for checking it out Daniel. I like that feedback, I think it describes the track well. As far as the tone, it's a 1963 Fender Bassman turned up to 6 and that's the level of break up it got. I could have maybe had it around 3 or 4 with no break up, but we were playing live in a room and I just wanted it nice and loud. I thought it was kind of a nice "Blossom Point". DeathTide wrote:
