Permalink Quilter Tone Block Ohms Question

New Topic

I have a Quilter Tone Block 202. This morning, I decided to hook it up to my two 1x15 speaker cabinets placed in opposite sides of the room. It sounded great, and I didn't have to hook up two amp heads to hear my guitar from both sides of the room.

Each cabinet contains a 15" Eminence/Quilter 4 Ohm speaker. I plugged the speaker cable into the 4 Ohm slot on the back of the Tone Block, went into an ABY Bigshot true bypass pedal, and then in to each speaker cabinet.

Could I damage my Tone Block by doing this? From what I understand, I am going down to 2 Ohms, which the unit is not intended for. I called Quilter, and I told them what I did. I will tell you guys what they said after reading a few of your replies.

Also, could someone please tell me what the switches do on my Bigshot ABY pedal? I keep all the Output B switches in the down position (GND, POL, ISO). Please let me know if I am doing this wrong. Thank you for your help.
