Hi Everyone

summer is truly here in Aotearoa New Zealand. I am wnjoying the heat on our national day and I think a swim is in the works very soon.

To my request. I’m looking for a list off songs in the (very crudely put) Spanish/Mexican surf flavour. Something in the Pintor ballpark. What have people got?

I almost don't know how you separate surf from the Spanish/Mexican influence. So many, but I guess some are more than others.

Aqua Velvets - Spanish Blue -

Twango by Teisco Del Rey (Dan Forte) -

Seville - and El Sleazo Chorizo by Teisco Del Rey - and others - e.g., Torquays for the latter -

Dick Dale - Spanish Kiss - and Mexico -

Atlantics - Reef Break -

I know Morricone was Italian, but a lot of his stuff sounded more Spanish - e.g., Los Straitjackets with GBU -

Hey, it's all Mediterranean influences.
