Permalink Anyone here surfing a Rickenbacker?

I recently acquired a Ric 360/6 WB in Mapleglo for another project, but I wondered if anyone here is using a Ric for Surf? (My guitars for surf are an '86 MIJ Jaguar and a 2004 DiPinto Galaxie IV.)

I used my 330/12 on my upcoming EP and wouldn't hesitate to do it again Smile

Project: MAYHEM by Hypersonic Secret now available!

The rhythm guitarist in The Treble Spankers used a Rickenbacker.

Los Fantasticos

I use my Ricky Lap steel in the studio often, and a Ricky 360/12 for background and fattening up parts. I once did play a 3 hr gig on the Ricky 12, which included surf standards like Pipeline, etc. it was an interesting sound.

We used a 330, a 325 and 4001 bass for some backing tracks on our records and in the last few dormant band years have only become more enamored with Rics.
I'm sure we'd use them on future projects
