What Trem Goes Best With Surfy Bear Compact Reverb For That Classic Surf Sound?

Among the tremolos I've looked at are: Walrus Audio Monument V2, BOSS TR-2, Harmonious Monk mk.2, TC Electronic Pipeline, and Surfy Industries SurfyTrem. I've been leaning toward the Walrus Audio Monument Harmonic Tap Tremolo V2 based on the YouTube videos I've listened to. Now I'll have to search for SurfyTrem videos as well and compare. Top

Harmonic tremolo is nice but may be pretty tricky in musical context. Surfytrem got me the right sort of envelope shape for the trem that I was looking for in surf. Redfeather Joined: Jul 30, 2016 Posts: 883	Posted on Sep 06 2023 12:13 PM For anyone finding this thread and wondering about the Surfy Trem and why it finds so much favor, it's because it recreates two of the tremolos Fender used in their amps and is therefore very authentic to the era. The brownface setting is the hamonic version from the professional amps rather than the bias vary version from the smaller student amps (which is also a great sounding tremolo.)
