I wish I could go back in time, and go to a surf show like that. a few of the people in the crowd were really going wild. I had been to Harmony Park a few times in the 80's , as it had been turned into a Antiques mall. Just 1 mile or so from my house. And that small narrow stage opening in the clip looked the same as what I remember. Sadly its gone now. Torn down to leave as an empty lot now for almost 10 years now. There was a bronze, or Brass plaque in there on the wall Saying that Louie, Louie was written in that building. all the cool stuff always goes away. Jeff(bigtikidude) — Jeff(bigtikidude) Top

It's also the same as the music in the clip from the movie " A Swingin' Affair" — "You can't tell where you're going if you don't know where you've been" Top

I also wish I could roll back the clock and see some of the original DD shows. I kick myself for missed opportunities. Goob Top

By 1968, I was suspended from H.S. when I let my hair touch my shirt collar, and the "in" style for girls was straight long hair, mini-skirts and knee-high boots. KMET was a hard rock station in LA that Im sure didn't start untill the late 60's. And I remember about that Jim Pewter guy convincing DD to re-record his old songs better to his liking, and also Jim Pewter was involved with the promotion of the show that happened with the poster.
