Phantom Surfer guitar build

But I'm a child of the 60's surf scene, and have been building guitars as a hobby for several years. I wanted to build a guitar that spoke to everything I remember about those years- whammys, single coils, and Ed "Big Daddy" Roth-inspired paint jobs. I thought the first headstock decal was pretty decent but I agree that the second one does fit the vibe better. I'm going to offer one bit of constructive criticism and say that your personal JDesign logo doesn't really convey the character of your builds. It's pretty humdrum. I don't mean the name--just the font and layout. I think it could really be punched up with a change to a more interesting font and maybe some tweaking of the layout. I'd be happy to help out if you're interested. Also, that furry guitar is amazing. Top

Ryan, from the 60 Cycle Hum You Tube channel had his JagStang done in a similar color and it really works.
