Anyone here play electric drums?
I have an Alesis kit that sounds good , but was wondering if anyone here has played an electric kit in a band or recording scenario…
I don’t know why but the thought of an electric kit in Surf just seems wrong lol

I’m not a fan of electric kits in any scene Other than practicing in a space where you can’t have a real kit. As a full time audio engineer, that’s the one instrument that needs to be live on stage. —Social Media |

I had a set of Roland V Drums. Snare, two toms and a base. A crash , ride and hi hat cymbals. |

OK for practice if you really have no other option but they pretty much suck for anything other than that. —Skins for The Delstroyers |
