You should just make one MP3 thread, then add the rest as replies. —"Turn the knob to 10 and break it off!" -Baja Marty |

Moderator chiming in here - Id like to know what's going on? I can't find all these band's myspace pages but the ones I did find have their song disabled for download. If the bands have allowed these songs for download then by all means, just point us to their myspace page, or wherever it's downloadable(preferably with some content as to why this band is worth checking out) ... if the band hasn't made the song downloadable, but the songs are somehow ripped and made dowbloadable without the bands' knowledge and approval, then don't post the links here. —Rules to live by #314: |

Yeah, what's up here Roy? If they have the mp3's on myspace just point us to their page. No need to repackage their mp3's for us, and they don't expire. Am I supposed to delete your posts in 7 days since the links will be dead? —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

this thing is now solved. for the record: the original poster contacted me and appearantly wasnt aware of the dwonloads being disabled, and asked me to delete those posts, whcih I'll do. It's indeed better to point to the myspace site; you'll leave it to the band what to share and what not, and nothing expires. by all means, continue discussing the dead surfers in this thread, fwiw, I liked the few seconds I heard! I was just able to download 3 of the four (couldn't download "Mustang 72") from the myspace link. -outsides- |

Yes, typically, the dead surfers have made their songs available for downloads, this thread got a bit sidetracked, sorry about that. some other bands the original poster posted links to hadnt. I agree, this dead surfers stuff is worth downloading! again, no harm done or intended by anyone. everybody happy! enjoy the surf! —Rules to live by #314: |
