No affiliation, but these are rare as hens teeth.

Wow, that is the real deal! I actually have a lot of connections in Oakland. I would only want the head, not the cab though. Maybe it's a good thing I don't live anywhere near there. Laughing

Thanks guys, that's actually a friend of mine selling it. I don't need it but I'm hoping Santiago (Combo Tezeta and The Deadbeats) can scoop it up.

I am fascinated that this comes with a 4 ohm speaker cab. Has your friend looked inside and verified the output transformer number? If it is really a 4 ohm factory Showman, then it's super rare! It might have a triad output transformer, which would mean 4 ohms.

Good point, thanks Dan!

It's not a 4 Ohm output transformer. It's an 8 Ohm.

The Scimitars

2 - 16Ω speakers in the cab. Santiago got it! SG101! Thanks again, especially NoCamping4U

I own one, but honestly if it was still for sale in a week I'd cave and buy it. It's still available on Reverb, did Santiago buy it?

Glad it went to someone on here, if so!

He did.

I am selling my 1965 showman amp with a JBL D130F cab.
Only $1000. I no longer play & have no use for it.
I live in Mission Viejo, OC.

The head was retolexed in blonde with champagne sparkle cloth.
The cab is black tolex. The cab does not have legs.

Too expensive to ship. I prefer not to sell separately.

I posted it with pics on fb Dave Eff.

The 2nd speaker cab jack was modded by a previous owner to input as a preamp, from what I was told. The main cab connections works as it should.
