Hey Rev,
Thanks for asking!
These venues have been insanely amazing!
The staff at all of them have been incredibly nice and accommodating.
We are the "warm-up act" (like Cheap Trick was to KISS in 77 :))
We only play about 25 minutes a night, playing selections from Thomas Lauderdale Meets The Pilgrims, since we are touring to promote it. We also usually play one song without Thomas, usually The Godfather. Nostalgia and familiarity work well with a large crowd, most of whom have never heard of us, though we do thank the loyal legions of SP fans that have shown up at every show. By the time we got to the SG101 Festival, however, we were ready to stretch out, play our own set and throw down to a crowd of our friends on their feet and dancing just a few feet in front of us as opposed to a big faraway crowd of mostly seated folks. Both styles of shows have their pros and cons, but we are so grateful to have had the chance to do these shows in these amazing spaces and locations. Here I am during soundcheck in NYC with the Brooklyn Bridge as a backdrop. You can tell I am not bummed out at all Smile

Truly incredible!

Great picture, Ted.

I'm so happy SP got to play these shows at these amazing venues. We got a little taste of it when Thomas got up to play some songs with SP at the SG101 festival! So much fun! And Ted, the set at SG101 was absolutely amazing... I'm so glad I was there and was right up front.
