Interstellar Stomp might have better tracks but Tsar Wars has the greatest flow of any instrumental record ever recorded. Ivan created an album where most surf records are a collection of songs. And Brian, best of shouldn't count because it really isn't a true release. If I recall Ivan wasn't 100% happy with it. Top

As for Interstellar Stomp. I can hum along with all the Melodies. I know them by heart, just like they are vocal lines. Very Melodic. Ivan was going to try and get that released by Double Crown, or so he told me back in december of '05. Top

I was lucky enough to find a copy of Interstellar Stomp (in mint condition, no less) for sale on Amazon a week or two ago. Before that, all I owned was the best-of, which I bought at a Madeira show. IS and TW may still be available on vinyl - Interstellar I believe has an extra track! Both worth getting in both formats. I, like many others, have a bias toward Interstellar Stomp only because I bought it before Tsar Wars came out and, like others have pointed out, hit me in the face. Top
