There is a user from Japan here, "Taki" constantly asking about Gomez gear (seems to be a collector or broker?). I successfully sold him my G-Reverb a while back! |

Wow that is a dream amp right there. Do you know what circuit it is based on? It sucks how few 15 inch combo amps exist. —Daniel Deathtide |

It's been quite a while, but I recall Dario telling me that it was based on the Fender Princeton Reverb circuit. That said, I think that Dario might have tweaked the reverb portion of the circuit. I don't recall hearing one in person, but reviews have been universally positive, especially with the 15" speaker. Here's a couple of reviews: Bob |

Nah, not buying. Don't get me wrong, I am very interested in the amp itself, but me living in Europe will result in the shipping, handling, import duties as well as added VAT (sales tax here) will amount to me paying (more than) the same amount I'd pay you for the amp, ergo I'd pay twice. I'd love to have a Gomez, but should I ever buy one, it will be from whatever seller in the EU. All of these extra costs take a lot of the fun out of buying stuff in the US and I reduce buying American stuff to the bare minimum and only if I literally can't get it anywhere else, I do so. —Albums: Changing label. https://magnatech.bandcamp.com Last edited: May 06, 2023 13:48:38 |

^^^ Your recollection is correct; Princeton Reverb inspired. Gotta love archive.org & the Way Back Machine! https://web.archive.org/web/20170211172917/http://gomezamps.com/g-reverb.html —Fady El Mirage @ ReverbNation |

I suggested posting this on an auction site and my comment was flagged and removed. How childish —"Here's to the man who drinks dark ale and goes to bed quite mellow. He lives as he ought to live and dies a jolly good fellow" |

Or he could put it on reverb.com with a set price. I am sure he will get what he wants for it. It's a nice piece of electronica. —Albums: Changing label. https://magnatech.bandcamp.com |

If you look at the third post on this thread, you'll see it is on reverb.com for a set price. The OP is suggesting here that he'll take offers. Cool amp. I use a Princeton Reverb with my surfish band a lot in small rooms where a large amp would overwhelm the room. Works great. Not to mention that a competent sound person with a good PA can reinforce a small amp on a larger stage very nicely. This has become common knowledge - a vintage Princeton Reverb is one of the hottest commodities in the vintage amp market. If I didn't have so bloody many amps, I'd strongly consider this Gomez. —The Delverados - surf, punk, trash, twang - Facebook |
