I decided to do it to free my mind for some new stuff and also to practice a little as I never recorded anything before last year. As my bandmates are in Ukraine and not really in a mood or time to participate, I was doing all by myself. Right now I am doing mixing and mastering, and as this is my first try, will be grateful for some quick advice if any) I am doing everything in Garagband and recording quitars and bass form Quilter Superblock US and pedals with no digital plug-ins. The only problems for me are the drums and the bass sound in the third snippet (a little too much treble). Other than that, you're good to go, I think! Have you considered asking another drummer to record some basic stuff? I know that there are two or three drummers on here, who participate in collaborations for the annual compilation. I was thinking about inviting some drummer and bass guitar player, but decided to do this one by myself all the way from composing to mastering. I think it will help me to better understand drummers or for example mastering engineers in my further records. Surely I am open for collaborations later!
