I've never liked 12" on a strat neck though, so that board would be an uphill struggle for me. Otherwise, looks like it'd go pretty well out the box, a plastic nut is a disappointment at the price tag but Alamo's video on it has some pretty sparkly tones coming out of those humbuckers - pretty sure they're surfable. Everything else seems really solid too, I'm a big fan of a 2-point. Specs wise, it doesn't seem like much of anything would need changing from stock, as long as you can stan the radius.

What is your preferred radius?

Sadly I've not played one but that finish is the surfiest thing that has ever surfed. Well, second to this "Sandbar" Ibanez RG.

I'm a hard 9.5" fan on Fender necks. I had a 90's 50th Anniversary Strat which had a 12" fretboard and I hated it. It was a really great guitar, but I could never bond.

That said on my girl guitars, 12" is completely fine.

I love the 9.5 but I think I could do a 12. we will see when i go test it out. It seems pretty bright and the S-1 makes it super versatile.
