Anyone listen to these guys? They aren't specifically Surf, but they play a lot of Surf tunes...

You know, I've never checked them out. I've known who they are for a long time but nobody has ever played me their stuff. I'd check it out right now but I've got some tunes I can't turn off playing. Maybe sometime later.

Thanks for the links.

I love em' they been around a longe time, the first time I heard of these katz was in the early 90s, I dig thier vintage gear.

I saw them at the Palace in Holly wood with Man or Astro man in 98 or so.
I was gonna leave after MOAM.
I had no idea who they were, but I stayed for the whole show.
Great band, I have all their stuff now.

I've seen them twice in Portland. Once at the Crystal Ballroom, and once at the Aladdin. I helped them load in their gear at the last show and got to stand side stage and watch them soundcheck.

I talked gear with Rick Miller a little. He told me about his Gretsch Billy-Bo. Nice guy! One of my favorite bands.

They are a lot of fun and Rick is a great guitar player! Great sense of humor too.

I've played probably 50 dates with SCOTS when the Exotics were together. Toured all over the East Coast, the Midwest and the South. I spent a lot of time hanging with them and they are the greatest. Super nice, regular people and super talented. Most of the best musical experiences that I have had in my life happened when I was touring with them. Their last 5 discs are fantastic.
