We have come across a song that the lead guitarist of our surf band Mina made the following remark after playing it: “Dad, this is not a normal breed.” In case you didn't know, our lead guitarist here of course was not exactly trained at Juilliard, she didn’t spend any time on any acoustic guitar doing classical guitar stuff at all, and only picked up one for a gig around Chinese New Year this year. Now, this song we came across called "El Bimbo", which used to be very popular in Europe and Asia (turned out it was French), of course Nokie Edwards and the Ventures made of cover of it and we thought we just had to try. Hope you like it!

WOW! That looks super complicated. Congrats on the drums! Drums are so much fun for my primal brain, guitar is more for the civilized brain.

As usual, it sounds great! Really cool that she is playing the drums now. I know I said this last time, but I prefer a live, unpolished version. I believe you said your wife (or a family member) agrees with me. Anyway, good job!

thank you! Hard to go back, but we DO have footage of us playing live of course, but in other genres, mainly rock, j-pop and metal. ;-))
