Does anyone use a Blossom Point with a blackface Fender?
Can it get me close to brown 61 or 62 ( 6G3 ) Fender ?

how about the Lovepedal Deluxe?

Best way to get the brownface sound: sell that blackface amp and buy a brownface original amp or clone/copy. Those pedals will never quite get you there.

I get what you are saying, as I own a 6G14 Showman boutique replica. However, that little Brownfacer pedal will get you about half way there paired with a black face amp. Sometimes I use the Brownfacer pedal with my Showman, sounds awesome!

Hi Deluxe Adverb, I have been testing and reviewing the surfy bear collection (Pi records on Youtube) and I currently use the Surfy Trem and Surfy Vibe pedals regularly so I was intrigued when the blossom point pedal came out and I have been testing it recently. It's an interesting pedal. It feels like you are pushing an amp harder than you actually are. It's not distortion or boost particularly, but more of a presence pedal, like the effect it is supposed to be emulating. I've noticed that it fattens up your sound and adds a degree of compression and sustain. I have not gigged live yet with it but think it will help some of my songs that need a little more to cut thru the rest of the band and stand out better. That's what it does, it's not a miracle brown face emulator, but does get you closer to that sound.
