New Topic

For sale - 1961 Fender Band Master (Bandmaster) amp and 12" Tone-Ring Cab, JBL D120F.
Rough blonde tolex, oxblood grill cloth, brown control panel "Brownface".
Excellent original condition, very few scuffs, no tears, no corrosion, well-maintained.
The amp is located in Los Angeles, prefer to deal locally.
Original transformers, most caps look original, sounds excellent and functions perfectly. Vintage Tung-Sol power tubes, variety of pre-amp tubes, one is a Mullard.
All piggyback/tilt-back hardware functions, as can be see in one of the pics.
Tone-Ring cab with 12" JBL D120F. Seems like an additional input jack was added (by a previous owner) to the back of the speaker cab for daisy-chaining another cab.
Head and cab covers included.
Asking Price: $3,000
No trades, no shipping.

Squink Out!

It’s a damn good thing you won’t ship, that’s exactly the Bandmaster I want.

Daniel Deathtide

Update to my ad!
Ran conveys the following from an expert friend:

Date codes on Tung-Sol 5881 power tubes (3226127-3) indicate they are likely original to the amp as they jibe with KH date code and production code # 11 indicating 2nd half of August, 1961 for manufacture of the amp.

Squink Out!

Very late update:
The Bandmaster has been sold.
