Permalink WTB: D67 FUZZMITE PEDAL

New Topic

I’ve been searching for one of the elusive D67 AUDIO FUZZMITE Mosrite style fuzz pedals. I know a bunch were sold to members of this group by Garret of The Ghastly Ones and only sold at Primitive Sound in Burbank which is now closed. Any leads would be appreciated, thanks!

I don't have any leads, but I would love to know more about Garrett's take on the Fuzzrite circuit. The mass/bass/gain control seems very cool

My guess is the Mass knob is simply a potentiometer between the 22k resistor and ground. I built a Fuzzrite like that (the germanium version) and I used a 250k audio pot. Turning it up increases the bass.
The Catalinbread version of the germanium Fuzzrite has a toggle switch that takes the 22k resistor out of the circuit aka the Modern sound.
I also built another gemanium Fuzzrite where the resistor is on a footswitch so it acts as an on/off bass boost.
Any builder can do it for you. The silicon Fuzzrite is even simpler to build.

I just found out about this D67 fuzz because I read the new fuzz by Surfy Industries is based on it.

It took me longer than a year, but I finally found one.
