I’m so bummed I couldn’t get down to LA. We used to go to frogtown every week when I lived in glendale, (my former boss’ nephew runs/ran it)happy to see they’ve expanded and starting having great events like this! the band sounded great on videos.

was surprised to see some big tiki heads fly in.

There was another big tiki event the day before, so they came down for that, then stayed for this.

I would like to advocate for 2pm start becoming the new 10pm start

Matt, I'm with you! I like these early shows. Jeff and I were recently talkin' about this.

It’s awesome to be home and feet up in the recliner by 8 pm,
Dozing off to pbs by 9 pm

the concerts I mix in the bay area usually start at 7:30pm. my LA concerts usually started at 8pm. that half an hour earlier I get now is a whole world of difference in my late 30s.

my 3pm sunday matinees are pure heaven.

I agree. When I was playing in bands in San Francisco and Berkeley, we used to always try to be the opening band so we could get a good night's sleep before work in the morning.
