It's by Emy Jackson & Smashmen and it's called Namido No Heart.
I was listening to Nippon Girls vol 2 and suddenly this incredible surf guitar jumped out at me, I could barely believe my ears. Then without warning, it started glissing like a maniac! This band has a more produced rerecorded version of this song, it's on their album... and the surf guitar is gone WTF???!!?!! But wow, what a joy to hear it in this version.

"Namido No Heart" literally means "Teardrop's Heart," or more accurately "Crying Heart."

I'm a big Emy Jackson fan and own an original copy of her sole album as well as a couple of 45s. And the surf guitar is not gone on the album version of "Don't Break My Heart"...

"Crying In A Storm" is great as well and was her big hit. Check out the Spotnicks' 1966 cover version...

That is so badass! I love that tone! I wonder what the high strings sound like. Whenever I get the low strings to sound awesome, the high strings break my ears.

Ah! Awesome! I was not searching for the English title duuuuuuuhhhh. On YT there are several vids of this song by this artist but it’s a completely different track. It doesn’t start with the organ and has no surf guitar. That is supercool you have the original vinyl! What year is it?

Emy: There was no band called “Smashmen” – it was a ghost band to make my songs. The players were pick up musicians chosen by Columbia records through testing procedures. The back end chorus were the MGM boys from the Philippines. Regarding the guitarist – there were so many musicians involved, I couldn’t tell you.

It's from 1966 and I have the Taiwanese pressing with the cool transparent coloured vinyl (although mine is the orange version)...

This entire thread epitomizes what I love about Surf and derivative genres. It was like a time machine to the best times of the ‘60s. The spirit of this music is what sets it off for me. It was as if electric guitar was a force all its own and an ultimate musical statement.
For my tastes, the music of the era before distortion became prominent is the best memory. I loved it all my life.
