I recently got this for rather cheap on ebay - it's an old MIJ low-watt tube amp that seems to be based on the 5F2a Tweed Princeton. Main differences are that it has solid state rectification and a 6 inch speaker, and uses a 6AQ5 tube instead of 6V6 (6AQ5 is basically just a smaller 6V6). I replaced the two wire power cord with a three wire for safety and added a fuse (for some reason it did not come with a fuse in the circuit). I also added a speaker out jack.
It sounds really nice, but is definitely not loud. I really liked the look of it, and I had been planning to build a 5F2a as my first tube amp build, but when I saw this I thought I'd go for something that's already built and way cheaper. Now I've changed plans to build a different tweed amp (probably 5E3).

Great find. Looks very clean. A 5E3 is as good choice for a build.

It was quite clean, and I believe almost all original, except that someone did a mangled job of putting connectors on the speaker wires and messed up the tabs on the speaker a bit. It's pretty quiet and fully functional, and I didn't need to replace any caps or other components of the circuit. Overall a great deal for about $130 (that included tax and shipping).
The one mod I'm considering is a negative feedback switch to allow more breakup - right now when at full volume, it only has some mild breakup.
