Permalink Anyone still buy bands' CDs?

Sure hope so, because Strange Waters is finally selling them on our Bandcamp page! You also get a free digital copy of the album, of course.

Or just hit me up on here directly for a couple of bucks off the CD by itself.

Right now, we only have our debut EP available on CD. But hopefully, more will be following soon.

Word.

I still prefer CD's. The songs sound good. I'll order a copy on next week's BandCamp Friday, so you don't get hit with fees.

I buy cds

Jeff(bigtikidude)

I do. That's my 1st choice.

Can’t play vinyl in a car

Jeff(bigtikidude)

I got nothing to play them on. I was listening to them in car but in the new one there’s no cd player, just Apple play and I am pretty happy with it.
However I still buy some CDs on concerts and shows to support musicians)

Very cool. Thanks, man. Glad you dig the tunes.

You know, I've seen that picture a bunch of times but never noticed that it's literally attached with bungee cables

Storm Surge of Reverb: Surf & Instro Radio

Yes I’ve seen it also,
I’m sure it skipped while driving.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

The steering wheel is on the wrong side, clearly it’s a fake. Who puts their steering wheel on the wrong side? What kind of animal does that? It’s like they want us to drive on the wrong side of the street. Animals.

I totally missed the cables too! Hilarious!

I still buy CDs, and am actually buying a better CD player than I have this week.

Not so hi-fi car turntable…

I bought "Strange Waters" on digital. It really stretches the budget by not cutting in the Mailman and the wife doesn't ask about the constant stream of CDs coming in the mail.

Lol. Thanks! Totally get it.

i buy them when i see bands live

I buy them to support or when it's not available on vinyl.
There are some releases I dig so much I hope they get a nice vinyl reissue in the future. For example like tikiyaki did —

For sure. Me too. We hope to get some vinyl out before too long.

Yep. I still prefer music in physical format so buy a lot of CDs and vinyl. But if bands can only release digital albums and I dig their music, I buy those also.

Yess I do, mostly when we are traveling. Lugging around a pound or kilo of vinyl sucks. Getting them on the airplane really sucks. It think we have more suitcases because of the amount of vinyl we buy on our trips than we ever use!

So CD's are great, also when ordering online. They are cheaper, fit in your mailbox, etc, etc.

And CD's are the true retro! #fckvinyl #vinylonlyfortherich #lemmywasright
