Rad! Thanks for that. I also saw a video of them doing Wipeout in Petaluma… I need to book these guys in Ferndale. I was close once, but the routing didn’t work out. |

I hope that you can book them, Paul. Such a great band! The often throw a surf instrumental and/or spaghetti western instrumental or two into their set. Here's a video of a killer tune, "Mojave". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPZzc2XQlkQ —Bob |

I recently saw an interview with the guitar player, Kenny Vaughan. He was holding his new Jazzmaster the whole time. He said when he was getting serious and taking lessons, he wanted a Jaguar but his teacher talked him into getting a Telecaster. He briefly referenced surf and the Ventures as music that made him want to play. The opening theme instrumental to their old t.v. show is very surf inspired---lots of reverb, glissando, etc. I think surf guitar remains a big part of his identity. |

Not surf, but a nice job doing Paladin theme (original vocalist Johnny Western), along with Riders In the Sky. |
