Please consider donating to KFJC. They are offering this Surf Guitar 101 CD as a gift, with a $45 minimum donation. KFJC and DJ extraordinaire, Cousin Mary deserve our support.

There is no difference in the donation amount for international postage. KFJC sends thank-you gifts all over the world. Sometimes donors will voluntarily add a little bit to their donation to help with postage, but that is not required. Thanks for asking.

I have neither a Master credit card nor checks. That´s why I have to let it pass by.International money transfer from bank to bank costs a minimum of 20€ and then a certain percentage of the amount transfered.
Paypal would be the easiest way to pay for me, but that is not possible.

No Jeff,
my health conditions are too bad...no more activities outside.
But my son has a master card so I will ask him if he will order and buy the cd for me. However he is very busy and sometimes I don´t meet him in weeks.
But the cds won´t run away I presume...

Just got my CD and apparently there is a video on a funny looking USB thing-a-muh-bob? Cool!

That funny-looking USB thing-a-muh-bob is called a dongle, I do believe. The CD is now available and each of you reading this NEED TO GET THIS!!! The dongle contains hi-def videos of some performances from all of the bands. Most of these are different than what's on the CD. It's a terrific package, worth every bit of the $45 donation price (if you're ordering from overseas, I'm sure KFJC would appreciate a little extra money to at least cover the cost of postage to your country).

I'd just like to echo John's words above and offer another strong recommendation.
This thing is important on so many levels...
1) It's the only official recorded documentation of the event (2015 Garden Grove Elks Lodge)
2) These are manufactured in extremely limited numbers, so it's inherently
collectible
3) The money goes to an extremely worthy cause! KFJC has been one of the most important players in the dissemination of this music for decades!
Incidentally...the "dongle" is a USB Type A flash drive that contains a single 34 minute mp4 file movie with custom animated graphics and 1 song from each band.
Here's the CD track listing:
01. Jesters Tribute: The Jester
02. Paul Johnson: 33 Degrees
03. Moonbase: Smoke
04. Tomorrowmen: Tunak Tunak Tun
05. Volcanics: Green Room
06. Longboards: Tour De France
07. Els A Phonics: Astro Rumble
08. Eliminators: Punta Baja
09. Davie Allan: Vanishing Breed
And here's the Video track listing:
01. Jesters Tribute: A-Rab
02. Paul Johnson: Chiflado
03. Moonbase: Smoke
04. Tomorrowmen: Tunak Tunak Tun
05. Volcanics: Futureman
06. Longboards: Beach Bus
07. Els A Phonics: Omet Way
08. Eliminators: Dark Eyes
09. Davie Allan: Theme From The Unknown
— Insect Surfers
The Tikiyaki Orchestra
The Scimitars
Lords Of Atlantis

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. We cannot host live bands due to Foothill College Covid rules, so it was a great time to go back to remote broadcasts from the past. Enjoy!
