Hi . I am moving out of my rehearsal studio after many years and realize that I have way too much gear , duplicate amps and guitars , reverb making things etc ....so I am determined to sell off some pieces .
I see people asking 1K for fender reissue reverb tanks , 250 for Boss '63 Reverb pedals etc ...are they selling for that or are they asking way too much? I'm not very experienced at selling gear so wanted to see the reality of ask vs sell price .

I asked about fender reissue tank prices a while back when I was also amazed to see them at $1000+
Reverb.com is a good starting point to see what things are really going for. You can check "Sold only" under all filters:

You can also check on ebay and go to advanced search options to look at sold listings only. The problem with the online sites for selling gear is loads of people think they can get top dollar and list things for maximum retail price.
My strategy on ebay is to price things around the going rate (in terms of actual selling prices) or a bit under, depending on condition of whatever I'm aiming to sell. I see a lot of stuff sit around on Reverb and ebay forever because they are asking too much.

Edwardsand has the right idea - check the sold listings on eBay. They may vary wildly from asking prices.
Here's something to bear in mind. The price it sold for is an indicator of what it's worth, The asking price is an indicator of the seller's greed!

Reverb has a "sold listings" option, as well. When you run a search, go to "All Filters" and then select "Show only: Sold Listings"

I bought a Fender reissue tank from Reverb two months ago. It was listed at $899. It was very clean and in excellent condition. I did pay for tax and shipping, which pushed the price up another $100, but it was still well below the $1000 - 1200 other sellers were asking for similar units.
