If you were a kid in the 90's or paying attention to the top40 charts, you know and love these songs. Well now you can hear them in your favorite style - instro surf!
This was one of our pandemic projects, us being Tony from the TomorrowMen and our buddy Adam in Lodi (yes, the city Creedence was stuck in) and I think it turned out a lot better than anyone expected. Check out the attached commercial we made for it and if you're interested you can download or stream here on bandcamp. The regular streaming sites are to follow soon.
PS: I get it, it's not 100 pure surf, some of these are R&B songs for cryin'out loud. But it's a good study in converting vocal songs to instro without sounding like muzak IMHO

Hahah this is amazing! Nice work on the ad, too! I actually wish I knew more of these songs, but Black Hole Sun alone makes this worth it. Thank you!!!

This reminds me of the time when Los Apollos played four covers songs at a britpop tribute show (Oasis vs Blur)... only that this here works much better!

Thanks everyone! Guy we're still putting the CD's together, so it'll be a bit. Tony kind of jumped the gun putting it on bandcamp.
I should reiterate that I only play all the guitars on one song, the rest is all my friend Adam. I was primarily moral support and mixing. The entire thing was done on Garageband.
Ted, 90's R&B bears little resemblence to 60s R&B

I just bought a copy. Nostalgia? Not really, for this old guy. "Black Hole Sun" is the only song that I've previously heard, or noticed. That said, I like the song samples, and you can't beat the low price. Get it now!
