I was really wanting to come up for this. Then we got the dates for the HB pier shows. It’s the morning after. I need a personal jet damn it.

It'll be the first time we've made much contact with other humans in quite some time. You'll be there in spirit I'm sure Jeff.

I attended this! It was great. Good sound, vaxies only, outdoors. Awesome to see this. A nice and diverse crowd. I was a little freaked out about the mask thing but I decided to take the risk.

It sounds like it was a great event! I was planning on going and bring Thom some new music. Unfortunately, things came up, and I couldn't make it.

Thank you for the kind sentiment!
I know that it's not The 'Verb, but my new group is planning on playing the December show. I was hoping to have some other 'Verb members in the group, but it appears as though that might not happen. We do have a complete group ready to go and are beginning full band rehearsals soon.
Either way, the drummer, Wendell (he filled in for The 'Verb at one of the Darrell's shows), and I are finishing up an album right now for said group. If people are interested, I could do a preview of some of the tracks that are done now (we are just finishing up the last 3 of 13 tracks and have another 20 or so in the works).
I'm sure that The 'Verb will perform again as well . . . .

Good to hear from and about you. I was the producer of the 4th of July parties at Juanita Beach in Kirkland. Glad to have you with us for several years running way back when, and yes I still have my "Verb pin.

I would Love to have the Verb at a SG101 con.
And there would be good pay to make it worth the travel costs.

Oh, wow, that’s crazy! That was forever ago! Those were always a lot of fun! Which pin? The original black and white one? I’m sure The ‘Verb will play again in the future.

I’m sure that we could work something out. Are you coming up for Thom’s surf show in December? My new surf band will be playing, so I’ll be there for sure.

Tahitijack, I think I know exactly which pin you got thinking back to what? 15 years ago?
Maybe I’ll get some pins made for December.

Yeah, I think that’s the case for all of us right now. Hopefully, you can make it (which would also mean that the covid situation hasn’t gotten worse).

I think the pin was from around 2006 or a year or two later. For those that don't know about 4th of July in the Pacific Northwest we never knew if we could get the show in .... due to weather. Thankfully we always made it. The 'Verb was good luck for us.
