Permalink "Black Sand Beach" (cover)- Japanese themed surf tune from 1965

New Topic

Our non-stop Japanese themed month of surf rock continues with "Black Sand Beach" from 1965, the only surf song Mina & Dad could relate to a beach with the same name in our town (yes, we live near the ocean, but I do wakeboarding only and have never tried surfing).

Instead of using our usual Surf Rider pedal to play this song, I let her try dialing in a good surf tone using a very nice gift we got (a Boss GT-1), which seems to be helpful for us to learn what to do with patches and all. I hope the tone is acceptable to all you surf rock veterans here. Hope you like our Black Sand Beach cover. ;)
