New El Ray day!! Wooo! Love it! It’s different but still has that El Ray sound. Transitions is a good title for it. Very melodic and catchy! |

Thanks so much for your comments and support!! We have some bad news :-(. Yesterday there was a huge fire in the building where the EL RAY HQ is/was located. Currently we have no entry to the building due to structural collapse. Unfortunately it seems that all El Ray gear and instruments are "lost in the fire". It's reverb units, amps, drums, guitars and basses and 1000 more pedals, pieces and patches. All collected over the last 25 years or so... Please order our upcoming new album on vinyl or cd! Nooooooooooooo!!!!! I am so terribly saddened by this news, Lars. Thankfully we all have the recorded music that gear helped create, and the music will live on forever. As the new album title suggests, may putting the pieces back together inspire the next chapter of El Ray. That SUCKS, I am so sorry to hear that. At least no one got hurt (right?), and the new album was already done. In 1991 I lost all my stuff in a house fire. It was a deeply felt violation. So sorry that happened. What caused it? (A stupid roommate caused the one in ‘91!) Daniel Deathtide |

Thanks guys! That was a wonderful response there, Fady. Dan, no one was hurt and the building was an office building. The building is sooo close to other buildings and it's amazing the fire didn't catch on. That would have been horrible as many people live in the surrounding buildings. We rehearse in the basement and our room probably hasn't burned/or burned up but all the water, foam and stuff may have flooded the room totally. We still hope we get a chance to save a thing or two...but time is an issue here, I guess and there's no access. — |
