Permalink Los Straitjackets in Philly tonight 10/26

Just a heads-up to any Philadelphia area surf/instro fans. Los Straitjackets are playing at the Ardmore Music Hall tonight which is located just outside of Philly. The Ardmore is a great mid size club venue with great sound. Ben Vaughn (who is known to play a little surf/intro here and there) is opening. Looking forward to seeing both tonight.

Killer show last night by Los Straitjackets. Amazing how big a sound a miked Deluxe Reverb can produce. The legendary Eddie Angel, ably aided and abetted by co-guitarist Greg Townson and the rest of the band just tore the roof off the joint. I was actually pleasantly surprised that the club was packed, including the and instro is alive and well in Philly Big Grin Cool so all you surf/instro bands, please book some Philly area dates.....we will come out.
