Permalink How to make a surf music festival?

Hello dear friends Smile I appeal to you for help. Tell me, how to attract sponsors for organizing a festival of surf music? In Russia, this music is not popular, so we need a proven version. Which sponsors are best suited? How to “lure” them to your side? Big Grin How do you organize surf music festivals in your countries? Thanks in advance for your help.

Not an expert by any means, but I witnessed the growth of our local Burger Boogaloo that is now quite huge. The path for them was to start at a small club and make a full day of it. Find a club big enough to allow for vendors (vintage clothes, record dealers, gear heads). Promote it so it grows until one club can't contain it. Then create a multi-club event and build your traditional media profile to gain some legitimacy, at which point you can now go to sponsors and present them with a plan to put on a festival.

Thanks for the information, I will keep in mind.

Do it outside in a public area if you can, for good exposure.

try to get the area for free. If it costs money, then sell tix and have sponsors help with that cost. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
