Permalink Amazing Guitars Friday Interview for Surf Music & Early '60s Guitar Gear

New Topic

Dave Reynolds interviewed me about my vintage guitar gear and surf music last week for his guitar oriented YouTube channel, The Dave Reynolds Project - Amazing Guitar Fridays. Dave is a master guitarist and is a great jazz musician. We grew up in the same town in Maryland. Thanks, Dave!

My apologies to my far more knowledgable surf music and guitar enthusiasts/musicians if I goofed up any info. I think I said 9.25" fingerboard/neck radius when I meant to say 9.50". Embarrassed

Nice! I watched the episode, helpful info on neck contours. And of course you have an awesome collection of gear there.

Sweet video, great job! I'm sure any newcomer would be charmed. The Jaguar sounds amazing.

Agreed. It is always great when we can showcase surf instruments. Nice that you had that connection and he had tons of interest!

Thanks all - as I noted in the video's comment section, I corrected my mention of Jazzmasters originating in '59 when it was actually '58 - thanks to Matt22 for helping me with that. I guess I was so used to seeing '59s on the web that I got confused on that. Confused
