Hey there, folks!
Just finished a new track. This one is a part of my new project called "Beach Bomb".
The sound I was aiming for was basically surf mixed with some more heavier/extreme types of music.
Would love to hear what you guys think about the song

I saw your band treads water between Surf and Death Metal. Most Death Metal has a the rhythm guy chugging chords with a lot of distortion in the back ground. I think this song would be a killer with the same type setup.
The only example I can think of is the one Dick Dale and Gary Hoey below. Check out the Russian band Amphibian Man - Metal Goes Surf ... love their stuff . . . you sound similar to them.
Even if bands only hired a metal rhythm player would make some killer tunes to Surf by.
All the real surfers on boards love this stuff

Good song, man. Real tight. I like the bass, the way it follows the lead in parts.
I like the dynamic pacing also, you vary the energy nicely and build it to a dramatic crescendo.
Am I hearing wood blocks or something like that as a percussive element?

I like it a lot. Good riffs using an interesting scale, and surfy but not generic. The second half is really great with different chord progressions and other stuff going on.

Thanks a lot guys!
Really appreciate that
Surfing_Sam_61: That Dick Dale and Gary Hoey version is really great, but I really wanted to keep this sounding more traditional in the guitar section. The plan is to play this music as a trio, so wanted the song to capture that feeling. Maybe I will need a heavy metal rythm guitarist if that doesn't work out ;)
That Amphibian Man album is great. The version of Immortal is awesome!

This is very fun stuff. The guitar playing is impressive, and yeah that first song is super fast - like 250 bpm? I am a big fan of pushing this style (I don’t consider surf a genre)! Nice singles, I look forward to an EP!

ElMorto - WoW!
I looooove Napalm Nug! I would love to be in a surf band that played this type of faster, heavier style of surf music. So much fun. The bass guitar matching the lead guitar's riff is awesome. I remember a band called Coroner many years ago that was a 3 piece thrash band and the bass player and lead guitarist did the same riffs together, two octaves apart and it sounded incredible. Like very fast Iron Maiden stuff. I would love to hear more and will definitely like to buy your album when it comes out. I did buy your single - cheers to you!

I still think "The Jester" is among the fastest instrumental surf songs.

Cool track! Love the playing and love the spirit. Reminds me of Alabama thrash surfers Necronomikids, which you might dig:

Thanks again, guys! Really appreciate that
As you might have guessed, I'm a huge Necronomikids fan. And yeah, really sad that those guys aren't making music anymore.
