January Birthdays 
The San Diego Repertory Theatre (79 Horton Plz) is hosting a production of the play "33 1/3, House of Dreams," about the fabled Gold Star Recording Studio. The production runs through the entire month of August:

On August 17, they want to have a surf band (preferably an unplugged set if possible) perform in their lobby from 4:15 to 5:15pm. They'll pay $150 plus comp tix for the show and free parking. I think that part of the day will be co-sponsored by the Oceanside Surfing Museum. I'll be part of a panel discussion about surf music and surfing culture that evening at 7pm, just before the play at 8pm.
