Congratulations on 40 years!
I hope to catch you guys on tour again, but at the moment it's unfortunately not looking too promising.

Not only is Dave to be commended by keeping the flame burning for 40 years, but to keep producing significant original music, and putting together top notch lineups is worthy of the highest respect. Mazel Tov!

I used to record the "Rodney on the ROQ Show" every week in the '80-'81 and play the tapes in my car. That's where I first heard "Into The Action" and I was hooked. Wore that cassette out! I was also a faithful Trouser Press magazine subscriber and one month I was flipping thru the pages and there was an acetate 45 of the Insects song, "The Source" - somehow I still have that one!
Congratulations Dave & Co., you guys have made some amazing music. Can't wait for the Convention, your last SG101 set in 2017 was one of the greatest I have ever seen by anyone. Rocketh on!!!

That's cool!
See you there Bill.
For those who don't know.
Seeing the Insect Surfers at a very rare OC bar show in 96 was my gateway into the Surf Scene. Here is hoping for another 40 years!

Congratulations to Dave and all the current Insect Surfers, and alumni!
My first Insect Surfers show was in the early 1990's on a double bill with Laika and the Cosmonauts at the Rhino Records Westwood store, where Dave was also an employee at the time.

My first live Insects show was August 8, 1999. "Surfer Stomp '99" at the Ash Grove in my hometown San Pedro, CA. My band opened for them. Dave and the rest of the guys were super cool, funny, and supportive of us and of course rocked the house!
I also met this young long haired bearded big tiki dude for the first time that day

My first Insects show was probably '80 or '81 at the Psyche Delly in Bethesda, MD. What do I win?
