Hi everyone,

I believe that long ago (10+ years?) I heard a few tracks from The Madeira from an album(?) called "Rehearsal Recordings". They were quite killer! I don't see any record of this, so... were these leaked or otherwise not meant to be out there? If not, is there a way to re-obtain them?

Was it just a mirage?

When you say you don't see any record of it, do you mean on this site or YouTube? Do you remember how you listened to them before? I believe Ivan has shared some things only with us 101ers before.

I really don't recall where I got them, but I don't see an album by that name, nor reference to "Rehearsal Recordings" on youtube among the Madeira videos. I think the tracks I encountered were Intruder and El Caliph.

I have a copy. It's just a CD-R. I think it was something Ivan and the band passed around informally at the very beginning of the band before the first album was recorded.

I've written to the band and asked if I might still be able to purchase this.

I'm glad my memory has been validated and this wasn't a fever dream after all.
