We performed a three hour outdoor show in full Texas sun earlier today. Temps were between 102 and 106. So, I recently bought a Monoprice 15W tube amp, reading all the rave reviews on them online. Let me tell you guys, this amp is an amazing bargain for $199 shipped. Loud as heck and yes, even comes with a reverb tank. What?!? I swapped out the original speaker with an Eminence Cannabis Rex and replaced the stock knobs with some surfy, turqouis chicken heads to give it some color. Great, great tone and it took all my boss pedals with no problem. You can hear it on our band's Facebook page, video just uploaded.

Thanks for the mini-review and gig demo! I've been eyeing that amp myself. It's good to know that it's pedal friendly and can surf. Great playing, BTW.

Thanks for the kind words! The amp is truly a great deal. It'd make a great backup amp at SG101, just in case something were to blow a tube or transformer. There's also a Facebook group called Monoprice amp users that share their mods and experience with that particular amp.
