Hi all,
This is my second direct audio recording for over a decade thank to
audio experts on this site.
A Timeless success of the late and beloved Buddy Holly.
This is my setting:
Mex Strat Guitar > Amplug 2 AC30 > MagicStomp(Echo) > Orange Omec Teleport > PC USB
I had to struggle with the latency while playing.
Hope you like it,
Abdel

I like it! Thank you. Buddy wrote such beautiful music.
Too bad about the latency you had to deal with. That didn’t exist back in the day. As didn’t nudging sound bites …

Beautifully done! This was my father's favorite Buddy Holly tune and one we played for him when we said our goodbyes. After all these years it still brings tears to my eyes whenever I hear it and your instrumental version had the same effect.
Thank you for posting and playing. ![Smile Smile](/media/smiley/images/smile.gif)

Hi all,
Glad you liked it.
It's funny, I played it the simplest way possible as I was only concentrating on the Latency. It's a torture to play when the sound comes out a 1/4 sec later. The DAW somehow compensates for the lag time, it's only while playing.
I do prefer the live video.
Blessings,
Abel

Hi Abdel, extraordinary playing as usual. And the sound is really good.
Your latency situation is not going to magically solve itself. It will get better, if you do as we discussed - address the OS issues. Even a newest latest PC coupled with the best audio converter available, will have the same issues out of the box.

Hi all,
Ariel,
I did use Audacity.
As I said, this is my setting.
Mex Strat Guitar > Amplug 2 AC30 > MagicStomp(Echo) > Orange Omec Teleport > PC USB
But I forgot to add this:
The Teleport Out1 and Out2 go to my small Behringer mixer Line In.
From the Behringer, I monitor with my headphones while playing. The latency was not perfect, but was acceptable and much better than anything I tried before. Thank you.
Blessings,
Abdel
