Totally non-surf content alert!
The Straight 8s released a new DIY video championed by our upright bass player, Daniel Mebane. The track was recorded at Electro Magnetic Radiation Recorders (EMRR) in Winston-Salem, NC. The studio has an incredible array of vintage tube gear and mics (the drum overhead mic was from 1932!).
I think it's probably our most "vintage sounding" release to date and a step closer to the overall tone we've been chasing. Hope you dig it!
