Modern surf music is full of theme tune music. What is your favourite and more importantly do you remember a rare or overlooked film/series with an unforgettable melody. Perhaps a short lived TV series or non English film or TV tune that is not widely known. Here's a couple from British TV I remembered. |

Peter Gunn and The Inspector; Mancini. That guy was the king of out riffs that worked. The Inspector riff is hilariously chromatic. As for UK stuff, I always liked The Thunderbirds theme. |

The king of cheese Jerry Allen and his Trio theme tune for Lunchbox, an early afternoon weekly programme from the early 1960s British TV. It's called The Hedge Hopper. |

Apart from the Lalo Schifrin stuff my favorite tv soundtrack has always been Peter Thomas' music for the German sci-fi series "Raumpatrouille. Die phantastischen Abenteuer des Raumschiffes Orion" (Space Patrol.
