That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Axe - definitely (in my locale, we usually refer to guitars as 'bats')
Floor Candy (for pedals)

More generally:

Any use of the word 'Rocking' - but ESPECIALLY without the last 'G'.
Any conversation that starts: 'Surf music? is that like the Beach Boys?'

Youth and enthusiasm are no match for age and treachery.

You guys that have a problem with 'axe' might want to reconsider.. it is a generic term for any musical instrument last time I looked. 'Might as well get bugged by the term 'guitar' then.. (MHO)
I use it all the time... it's better than saying 'box'. I even have a nickname derived from it. So now,the fact that it bothers some folk is just an added bonus.
oh well..

Geetar (the deliberate mispronunciation)

no reverb ...for describing someones sound
it makes me shudder.

"the bottom line is..."

man that's such a 1980s Donald Trump-ism...
hearing about "the bottom line" on any subject usually makes me questions the user's logic and thought processes...it's so demeaning, the user of this statement believes they possess the final answer, and they're totally gonna shove it down your throat...and admit no room for opposing views or discussion...great conversation trick, huh?

makes me wanna Puke

Hmmm... Once again we're all different. My assumption going in is that all i'm going to hear is someone's opinion, so to me "the bottom line is..." is interchangeable with "to boil it down" you know, a simple distillation or restatement of the key point of the person's entire statement which, by definition is just their opinion. I get what you're saying, and if I heard it the way you do it would annoy, but "the bottom line is" I just don't Twisted Evil
