Recorded at Modern Times in Kyoto, Japan, on April 14th 2018.

Featuring:
Surfer Joe / Lorenzo Valdambrini (guitar)
Jonpaul Balak (bass)
Vincent Minervino (drums)

Playing my Custom Shop Jazzmaster straight into my SurfyBear pedal and a Roland Jazz Chorus (JC-120). Recorded using a compact Sony camera with stereo microphones 3-feet away from the stage.

A very good choice of songs and a great performance!
Thanks a lot Lorenzo and band to share this with us.
I remember how disapointed I was when The ASTRONAUTS had released
their concert (10.21.1989) in the Boulder Theatre on tape
and they played only three instrumentals (Baja, Movin´ and Banzai Pipeline).
So this medley is a real weldone gem for all lovers of the vintage surf
sound!
