Tqi: Is it morally acceptable to use a Radial capacitor in a 1960 amp design?

synchro: TQI, morality is a huge question and capacitors a deep subject. I say do it and don't tell anyone. Smile

Permalink Dark surf tune!

New Topic

Hey there!

Just finished a new song. This one is inspired by those surf black metal covers on youtube. Actually, the main riff is a rip off/tribute to Mayhem's "Freezin Moon".

Some feedback would be nice Smile

Check it out, its called "Night Surf"

Wow, this is really good! It incorporates quite a few different elements, like the metal and surf, but it also has a kind of psychedelic vibe. Overall, very nice!

Our beaches here get 3 foot tall waves, but it doesn't matter. You don't need to surf to play surf.

Who is this El Morto guy and where can I meet him to jam?
Badass tune - Dracula meets Peter Gunn.

Squink Out!

More please!

Haunting and beautiful. Nice work!

The Rubber Band Youtube Channel

Thanks, guys!

Really appreciate it Cheers

Really cool song, good job. Absorbing and remixing unlikely influences into something new is a great artistic/musical technique. I love styles of surf that have a dark and spooky feel and this hits it wonderfully.

I liked it. Smile

Well done sir! There's a lot to like, going on in your song. Damned, if slow surf isn't my favorite, and to mix the dark feel like you did...yeah I really dug it!

Great song!!! Goog Job Elmorto.I Liked it.
Can you speak about the recording process and The gear used?
The sound is very good.

Thanks again, guys!

I for the guitar and bass I just plug into my line6 UX1 interface and use the Pod Farm for amp sounds.
For the drums I use Ez drummer and REAPER for recording.

The final mix was made with LANDR, which is a online mastering software.
They give you two free low res mp3 mixes each month. Smile
